Medi Pedi is essentially a combination of routine foot care and a luxurious foot cleanse and scrub. All instruments used are sterilised with a hospital grade autoclave.  Infection control and clean aseptic procedures are followed. • An initial assessment to include neurovascular of lower limb health to determine your suitability for the treatment to ensure safety. 
• Your feet will then be assessed, nails cut and filed and any natural debris found under the nail bed or down the side folds of the nail will be removed.
• If the nails are thickened, they can be gently and safely reduced using a sterile bur. The thinning of the nail can  help prevent discomfort from footwear due to increased thickness and also helps to restore the nails natural colour and is also  a treatment  for any fungal nail problems  and aids the application and effectiveness of any medicaments for ongoing treatment.
• Any callus or heel cracks will be treated using a combination of sterile instruments and tools.
• any corns will be removed
• Feet can then be soaked using the Prende Intense Mineral Soak and Salt Scrub in a  Beverley Hills Footsie Bath.   individual and disposable liners will be used to prevent  cross infection between clients and also ensures that there is  no recirculation of water which can harbour bacteria. 
• Following this an exfoliating scrub will be applied and removed using warm clean towels.
• Prende nourishing oil will be applied to the nails and the foot and lower leg will be gently massaged with a massage cream.

Medi Pedi with Warm Wax Therapy

• An initial assessment to include neurovascular assessment of the lower limb to help determine your suitability for the treatment.. 
• Your feet will then be assessed and  nails cut and filed along with cleared of any natural debris found under the nail bed or down the side folds of the nail. 
• If the nails are thickened, they can be gently and safely reduced using a sterile bur. The thinning of the nail can  help prevent discomfort from footwear due to increased thickness and also helps to restore the nails natural colour and is also  a treatment  for any fungal nail problems  and aids the application and effectiveness of any medicaments for ongoing treatment.
• Any callus, heel cracks or corns will be treated using a combination of sterile instruments and tools.
• Following the routine nail care, an exfoliating scrub will be applied and removed using warm clean towels.
• Prende nourishing oil will be gently warmed and applied to the  foot followed by the application of the Prende Warm Wax which is brushed on gently and covered with single use disposable plastic liners
• Warm  electric booties will then be placed over the liner and you will be left on for 20 minutes during which time you will left peacefully with gentle background music (if desired) to totally relax while I will be in the adjacent room and available should you need anything.
