There are many reasons why people struggle to care for feet, including mobility, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. Having worked as a Registered Nurse in the NHS for 20 years, I have gained valuable experience in the care of high-risk foot patients such as diabetics needing routine monitoring and complex treatment. This knowledge and experience has inspired me to take this path. I feel privileged to have reached this point and would love to welcome you to my clinic and for us to discuss your individual needs with regards to your foot health.
I have trained and qualified as a Foot Health Practitioner (Dip FH) with Membership of the College of Foot Health Professionals (MCFHP) and the British Association of Foot Health Professionals (MAFHP) through the respected and accredited SMAE Institute. I am a registered member of the BAFHP and am bound by their code of ethics and hold professional insurance and enhanced DBS clearance.
I am a friendly, approachable and non-judgemental professional whose aim is to provide a clinical approach adhering to all infection control guidelines and evidence based care, alongside an environment which has a therapeutic feel, as we all need a little TLC at times. With this in mind please highlight if you would like a ‘quiet’ appointment as I am happy to chat or to allow you the time and space to just relax !
On a personal level, I like to travel when the opportunity presents itself, being outdoors enjoying nature and just loving my lovely family which includes my 2 fur babies Bonnie and Roo (who you may see lurking in the garden at times). I have recently joined a gym and am trying to develop a love for exercise but that is still a work in progress!
